ABOUT TAIGA
Taiga is an Airsoft team based primarily in Stockholm. The team also has members in other parts of Sweden. As a team, Taiga is focused on primarily MILSIM games, but participates in several other events and trains together regularly. This with the goal of becoming Sweden's best and most coordinated Airsoft team!

Taiga was started on 1st September 2022 and currently has 20 members with varied backgrounds, from many years of experience with MILSIM and professional work within the armed forces to complete beginners.
STRUCTURE & EQUIPMENT
Taiga aims to reach a team size of 40 members. This with the goal to be able to go to larger events as a united and separated platoon.
The team consists of 4 groups with different tasks and focus. Each group is led by a squad leader and deputy squad leader.

As a whole, the Taiga is led by a platoon leader and deputy platoon leader who also has a pair of snipers that can be used to support each individual squad in their tasks.

Outside the playing field, the team is organized with a team leader and a leadership group. Decisions are made via leadership meetings and team meetings.
In terms of equipment, the team does not strive to imitate any "real" unit, but has certain equipment requirements linked to functionality and event factors.

JOIN TAIGA
Everyone is welcome to apply for membership in Taiga, regardless of experience or current equipment. You who apply will, as a first step, get to talk to someone in the team management about yourself, your ambitions and why you want to become a member of Taiga. This so that we have a consensus on what Taiga is, that you will fit the team and the team will fit you.
If everything feels good to you and us, you will be assigned the status of Recruit in Taiga. As a recruit, you are like any other member but on try. You have every right to make your voice heard and participate in decisions, but no right to vote in any decision.
The recruitment period has no time limit, but instead your attendance at our events counts as a trial period. You need to participate in 3 smaller events and one large MILSIM. This is so that you can have plenty of experience to base your decision on continued membership, and so that the team can get a fair picture of you going forward.
Please note, the evaluation of your recruitment period is not based solely on your performance during these events, but a balanced assessment is made of everything you did during your recruitment period.

No equipment requirements or other commitments apply until the first major MILSIM game. So you don't need to buy a lot of new equipment before then.
What we are looking for is not players who are good technically, but players who are in line with Taiga's values, vision and are humble and open for development.
